What Gewape Cloud Media delivers
Keep your photos, videos, audio and files in folders, and share them privately, with a link, or as a gallery at your own address.
Gewape Cloud Media is a place to keep and share photos, videos, audio and any other files. It is made for people, not only developers: a photographer delivering a wedding album, a musician sharing a release, a school keeping event photos, or a shop keeping product pictures for its website. You open it from Media in the Gewape Cloud Platform.
Everything lives in folders. Drag files in from your computer and they upload side by side, each with its own progress. Photos and videos show as a grid with previews, and you can filter by photos, videos, audio or files, select several, and download or delete them.
Each folder has one sharing setting. Keep it to yourself, send a link that opens a clean gallery anyone can view without an account, or show the same gallery at your own web address with HTTPS. Switch a folder back to Only me and the link stops working at once.

Filter a folder by photos, videos, audio or files, select as many as you like, and download or delete them in one go.
Share with a link
Anyone with the link sees the folder as a gallery, with videos and audio that play and a Download button on each file. They do not need an account.
Gallery on your own website
Connect an address you own. The console shows the two DNS records to add, checks them, and your gallery goes live there with HTTPS that renews itself.

If your domain is hosted on Gewape Cloud DNS, one click on Add the records for me creates both records.
Albums inside a folder
Files grouped into subfolders appear as albums visitors can switch between in the gallery.
Upload links
Create a one-time link that lets a client or a script put one file into a folder, without an account. It expires after 15 minutes and cannot be used to view the folder.

Media sits in the Gewape Cloud Platform next to your other services, and your usage shows in Wallet & Usage.

Create a folder
Open Media in the Gewape Cloud Platform and click New folder. Give it a name you will recognize.

Upload your files
Drag photos, videos, audio or files onto the folder, or click Upload. Keep the page open until every upload finishes.

Choose who sees it
Click Share and pick Only me, Anyone with the link, or On my website. Copy the link and send it.

Go live at your address
For your own website, add the two DNS records the console shows and click Check. The gallery goes live there with HTTPS.

Who is Gewape Cloud Media for?
Anyone who stores and shares photos, videos, audio or files: photographers, musicians, schools, shops, agencies and families. You do not need to write code.
Do people need an account to see my photos?
No. When a folder is set to Anyone with the link or On my website, visitors open the gallery in their browser and can download each file without signing up.
Can I stop sharing a folder?
Yes. Open the folder, click Share and choose Only me. The link stops working at once, and your own address stops showing the gallery.
Can I show a gallery at my own address?
Yes. Choose On my website, type an address such as photos.yourstudio.com, add the two DNS records the console shows and click Check. HTTPS is issued for you and renews itself. Use a subdomain, not the bare domain.
My domain is on Gewape Cloud DNS. Do I have to add the records myself?
No. The console recognizes the domain and shows Add the records for me, which creates both records in one click.
Can someone send me a file without an account?
Yes. In the folder's Settings, create an upload link for one file. It works for 15 minutes and only lets the person put that file in, not see what is already there.
What does it cost?
US$0.03 per GB stored a month. Delivering public images is free. Private content, and content that is not an image, is billed at US$0.05 per GB delivered.
What happens when I delete a folder?
The folder and every file in it are deleted and cannot be recovered. The console asks you to type the folder name to confirm.
