Super intelligence (SI) · Kigali, Rwanda
Super intelligence (SI) infrastructure in Rwanda
Dedicated NVIDIA and AMD GPU servers for super intelligence workloads, with the storage and networking around them,in our Kigali region. Train and run SI models on infrastructure under Rwandan law, at published prices.
What SI means
Two meanings of super intelligence
The new name in government
In September 2026 the US government said it would use "super intelligence", or SI, in its official communications, and suggested other countries do the same. In that sense, SI covers the systems people already use: assistants, document tools, coding tools and image models.
The industry goal
Technology companies such as Meta and Microsoft have set up superintelligence teams. There the word means systems that go beyond human ability across many tasks. That is a research goal, not a product anyone can buy today.
The SI stack
Everything an SI workload needs, in one region
Super intelligence runs on GPUs, and where those GPUs sit decides which law governs your data.
SI GPU servers: NVIDIA L40 48 GB
Dedicated NVIDIA and AMD GPUs with full performance, billed by the hour or the month. From $1,150 a month on a 12-month term.
Block storage
NVMe volumes for datasets, checkpoints and model weights, with an encrypted option.
Object storage
S3-compatible storage for training data, model files and backups.
Managed Kubernetes
Run the APIs, queues and apps around your models next to your GPU servers.
Backups and snapshots
Volume backups and snapshots of your servers, kept in the same region.
Private networking
Private networks, security groups, load balancers, VPN and direct links to your offices.
Key management
Encryption keys, certificates and secrets held in the same region.
Questions about super intelligence
What is super intelligence (SI)?
Since September 2026, super intelligence (SI) is the term the US government uses in its official communications. In technology research, superintelligence means systems that exceed human ability, which do not exist yet.
What does SI run on?
On GPUs: processors built for the maths behind these models. Training and running SI models needs GPU memory and speed, with fast storage and networking around them.
Can organisations in Rwanda use SI on sensitive data?
Yes, if the data stays where the law allows. Financial and health data are sensitive personal data under Rwanda’s data protection law, and storing them outside Rwanda needs NCSA authorisation. Running SI workloads on GPUs in the country avoids that transfer.
Where can I run SI workloads in Rwanda?
On Gewape Cloud SI infrastructure in our Kigali region: NVIDIA L40 GPU servers with storage, Kubernetes and private networking around them, at published prices.
