Questions about GPU cloud in Rwanda
Can I rent an NVIDIA or AMD GPU in Rwanda?
Yes. Gewape Cloud sells NVIDIA L40 48 GB GPU instances for AI in our Kigali region. AMD Instinct GPUs are available on request. You run them like any other virtual machine, by the hour or on a monthly or 12-month plan.
Where is my data processed?
In the region you choose: Kigali, Rwanda. GPU instances, storage and backups stay in that region. Gewape Cloud Rwanda is registered with the National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA) as a data processor.
Can Gewape Cloud see my data or models?
No. Your GPU is dedicated to you, and your disks can be encrypted with keys held in the region. We do not access customer data without your permission.
Which GPU do you offer?
NVIDIA L40: 48 GB of GPU memory. Runs open models in the 30-billion-parameter class on a single card, supports FP8, and handles inference, fine-tuning, computer vision and image generation.
Is my GPU shared with other customers?
No. Every GPU instance comes with dedicated NVIDIA or AMD GPUs that are yours alone for as long as you run the server.
How are GPU instances billed?
On-demand use is billed by the hour from your prepaid wallet. Monthly and 12-month plans reserve the GPU for you, so it stays yours even when the server is stopped. Launching a GPU instance needs a verified account and prepaid credit.
What happens during maintenance?
We announce planned maintenance at least 72 hours ahead, and agree the window with customers on monthly and 12-month plans.
